At Blaenos House, we believe in honouring the memories of those who have been part of our family, and we are deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity of our residents' loved ones. Recently, we received a wonderful donation from the family of the late Sylvia Pyper, who was a beloved resident here for just over three years.
Sylvia and her husband, John, shared many special moments at Blaenos House, including the joyous celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary. It was a truly memorable occasion, filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family. Sylvia was dearly loved by all, and her family will always remain an important part of our Blaenos community.
With the generous funds donated in Sylvia’s memory, we have been able to purchase a brand-new coffee machine, along with a selection of mugs and coffee pods, to enhance the break times of our dedicated staff. To honour Sylvia’s memory, we have named our new coffee corner ‘Sylvia’s Solace’—a peaceful space designed to provide relaxation and refreshment for our hardworking team.
We hope that Sylvia’s Solace will serve as a daily reminder of the kindness, warmth, and love that she brought into our home. Thank you to Sylvia’s family for this heartfelt contribution—it is a beautiful tribute to a remarkable woman, ensuring that her legacy continues to bring comfort and joy to those who cared for her.
