Gary Cottrell is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant who, after qualifying, left accountancy practice to further his career in the advertising industry. He joined Frank Lowe at the formation of Lowe Howard‐Spink, helping to transform it from a London-based agency into an international operation through strategic acquisitions. This early experience gave Gary strong expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and change management.
He then moved into the IT sector with ITM Group, where he facilitated expansion plans through acquisition strategies. After the sale of ITM, Gary transitioned into the third sector, focusing his career on the health and social care industries. Here, he developed a particular interest in how the application of technology can enhance both the quality of care delivered to individuals and the efficiency of administrative systems supporting carers.
Gary joined Ashberry Healthcare in 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. His wide-ranging experience across commercial and third-sector environments has been instrumental in strengthening Ashberry’s platform for organic and acquisitive growth.
