Claire Fry

Claire’s working career started in accountancy but very quickly developed into a commercial bias by organising large medical conferences and successfully negotiating third party sponsorships. Her role required a close interaction with blue chip pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca and GSK.

In 2011, Claire took her commercial acumen into the care industry undertaking a senior regional position within BUPA. This included both commercial and operational responsibility for several care homes across the country.

In 2022, Claire started a new venture with Ashberry Healthcare Ltd. With her operational experience and demonstration of commercial excellence she quickly progressed to become the Operations Director. This appointment allowed her to operationally support and direct the Ashberry Healthcare portfolio of homes. Claire’s experience in establishing teams that both perform and deliver has been the nucleus of her driving change and continuous improvement throughout Ashberry. In addition, her experience in turnaround has been instrumental in ensuring that any new acquisitions quickly and effectively embrace the Ashberry processes and core
values.

Above all, Claire fully embraces the core values of Ashberry personally. She ensures that her priority is to deliver excellent care in a manner that is both expected and deserved of both residents and families.

Originally from Chester, Claire now lives in Northampton with her husband of 20 years and her two grown up children who work and live nearby. In her spare time Claire is a volunteer for the Cinamon Trust, a charity that helps walk dogs whose owners have limited mobility. She also enjoys her garden and travelling to new places, believing that it does indeed broaden the mind.
