Training and workforce planning arrangements: Ashberry Healthcare Limited
| Arrangements in place during the last financial year for identifying, planning and meeting the training needs of staff employed by the service provider. |
We have regular meetings to assess the training needs of the staf
f and then the necessary arrangements are made to facilitate the
training required. Some training is on an online platform and other
training is arranged via external training providers. We currently partner
with CBAT for our clinical face to face training. We have arranged and completed train the trainer training for Moving and Handling as this helps to facilitate training a timely manner. We also have in house dementia training.

We have used several channels of recruitment. We have used platforms such as indeed and social media which has been widely successful. We have also used recruitment agencies but this is mainly for qualified nursing staff.
In line with government guidelines we have recently implemented new audit for the monitoring of our overseas workers. Our head office team will also help with recruitment and run recruitment campaign when needed.

During the reporting period, Care Inspectorate Wales visited our service. We're proud their findings show we provide safe, effective, and supportive care for the people who use our services, meeting the required standards under section 27(1) of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.
We also carry out regular reviews to make sure the care and support we offer continues to meet people's needs and helps them achieve positive outcomes.
