Care Assistant

Allt Y Mynydd Nursing Home sits in 17 acres of private grounds in Brechfa Forest, with stunning views across the Duar Valley from almost every bedroom and communal area. The house is home to no more than 44 elderly men and women requiring nursing, residential and dementia care. Our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected.

As a Care Assistant at a Allt Y Mynnydd, you'll play a key role in helping residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the high-quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and create meaningful moments and memories. This is your chance to bring your compassion and dedication to a rewarding environment. Each day will offer new challenges, making the work as diverse as it is fulfilling.

Responsibilities will include:

• Personal care
• Assistance with meals and fluids
• Transferring residents as per care plan
• Accurate record keeping
• Offering comfort, stimulation and support, whilst maintaining residents’ privacy and dignity
