Ashberry Healthcare is delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Mullen as Home Manager at The Weir Nursing Home, in Hereford, marking an exciting new chapter for the home and recognising Amy’s inspiring journey within the organisation.
Amy first joined Ashberry Healthcare in 2021 as a receptionist and quickly became a valued member of the team. Through dedication, passion and a strong commitment to improving residents’ lives, she has grown and flourished within the organisation, progressing into leadership and playing a key role in supporting wellbeing initiatives across Ashberry homes.
Now stepping into the role of Home Manager at The Weir, Amy represents a new generation of leaders in the care sector, bringing fresh energy, compassion and a strong vision for the future of resident care.
Amy brings passion, leadership and a deep commitment to ensuring that every resident feels valued, supported and truly at home. Her leadership style is hands-on and collaborative, fostering a positive culture where staff feel empowered and residents receive the highest standards of care.
Speaking about her appointment, Amy said:

Amy’s experience supporting wellbeing initiatives across Ashberry homes has given her a strong understanding of best practice and innovation in elderly care. She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for residents and ensuring dignity, respect and engagement remain at the heart of daily life.
