Welcoming Sally as Home Manager at Engelberg Care Home
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sally as Home Manager at Engelberg Care Home, a role that reflects her dedication, experience and long-standing commitment to the home.
Following the promotion of Daniel Cash to Director of Regional Operations, Sally has stepped into the Home Manager role, a well-deserved progression after years of hard work and commitment to the Engelberg team.
Sally has been part of the Engelberg family for over seven years, beginning her journey as a Senior Carer before progressing to Deputy Manager and now stepping into her new position as Home Manager. During this time, she has become a familiar and trusted presence within the home, building strong relationships with residents, their families and the wider team.
Her passion for person-centred care is at the heart of everything she does. Sally is committed to ensuring that every resident is treated with dignity, respect and empathy, and that their time at Engelberg is as comfortable, happy and fulfilling as possible. She takes great pride in getting to know each individual, supporting them to live life in a way that feels meaningful to them.
Sally’s leadership style is hands-on, supportive and inclusive. She works closely alongside her team, encouraging their development and ensuring they feel confident and empowered in their roles. She believes that great care comes from a strong, united team, and is dedicated to fostering a positive and collaborative environment throughout the home.
Engelberg is a place Sally is incredibly passionate about. She values its warm, homely atmosphere and the way residents and families are welcomed with kindness and compassion. As Home Manager, she is excited to build on these strong foundations while continuing to enhance the experience for everyone who lives and works there.
Looking ahead, Sally is particularly focused on supporting residents to enjoy life to the fullest, whether that’s maintaining independence, trying new experiences, or revisiting activities they love. She is committed to helping residents continue doing the things that bring them joy, from day-to-day moments to special outings.
