At Holmer Court Care Home in Hereford, we were delighted to host two very special guests – a mother reindeer and her baby!

The reindeer visit was an unforgettable experience for our residents. Seeing these gentle creatures up close brought smiles to everyone’s faces, sparking memories and stories of Christmases past. It was truly a moment of wonder and joy, reminding us all of the beauty of the season.

Becky, our Wellbeing Lead, shared her thoughts on the day: "We've had a very magical day today and very festive. This morning we had a visit from two reindeers. A mother and baby. The residents loved seeing them. It was quite amazing to see them so close up."

The reindeer visit was a highlight of the season, bringing joy and a sense of festivity to everyone at our care home. It was a memorable experience that residents and staff alike truly appreciated. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day special.
