Meadowview unveils new on-site pub and garden

We’re excited to share some wonderful news from Meadowview Care Home! Thanks to the generosity of one of our residents’ families and the support from Ashberry Healthcare, we’ve recently unveiled The Laughing Cow, our brand-new on-site pub, and given our garden a complete makeover!

The Laughing Cow is extra special because it was funded by a donation from resident Mick’s family, honouring his memory and his love for community and companionship. Our residents chose the name themselves, and it’s already become a lively social hub where everyone can come together for a drink, sit in the sunshine and catch up with friends.

At the same time, Ashberry Healthcare invested in revitalising our garden. It’s now a real oasis of colour and life, with fresh grass adding greenery, new fencing bringing a sense of privacy and safety, and beautiful flowers brightening up the raised beds and planters. We’ve also added a large table and comfortable seating so residents can enjoy meals or drinks outdoors, surrounded by nature.

The transformation has really brought Meadowview to life, and it’s wonderful to see residents, families, and staff enjoying these new spaces. A huge thank you to Mick’s family for their heartfelt contribution to The Laughing Cow, and to the Meadowview team for doing up the garden.
