This week, as we celebrate National Housekeeping Week, we want to shine a spotlight on the amazing members of our housekeeping team who work tirelessly to keep our homes clean and welcoming. Today, we're excited to introduce you to Lisa, a key player in our laundry and domestic team here at Engelberg.

Lisa has been with us for three years, and in that time, she’s truly made her mark. She had worked in the kitchen but soon found her stride in her current role, which she finds both fulfilling and rewarding. As Lisa puts it, "I feel like I can make a difference, even if it’s small. It feels good to know that I’ve helped someone." Her warmth and genuine care really shine through in her daily interactions with our residents—she’s always there to lend a hand or share a chat.

When she’s not at Engelberg, Lisa is a trained beauty technician who loves doing nails, adding her creative touch to everything she does. She values the close-knit, supportive team at Engelberg and appreciates the variety of activities offered to residents, as well as the beauty of our garden. For Lisa, Engelberg is an “all-around lovely home.”
