Our Summer Fair at Broomy Hill on Saturday was a wonderful success, bringing together residents, families, friends, and our local community for an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and great company.
From the moment guests arrived, the garden – lovingly prepared by our brilliant maintenance team – set the perfect scene. Sunshine, music, and the smell of sizzling BBQ made it feel like summer had truly arrived.

We were thrilled to welcome the Gadzukes Ukulele Players, who created a fantastic atmosphere with their lively music. As they later said, “We had a fantastic time. Always enjoy entertaining all at Broomy Hill.” Their cheerful tunes had toes tapping and smiles all round.

A huge thank you to The Beefy Boys, Herefordshire Meats, Alexander’s Hair Salon, and KM Foot Health Care for their generous raffle donations, which helped make the event even more special.
Guests enjoyed a tempting array of BBQ food and homemade cakes – so good that one attendee couldn’t resist saying:
“Credit and thanks to the thought, dedication and care of the home management and their team. A fun, happy and safe afternoon for all. Seeing the joy and pleasure of the residents is what it’s all about. Well done all.
P.S. The BBQ food and cakes were too tempting and very delicious.”

Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised an amazing £420 on the day – a testament to the kindness and generosity of our wonderful community.
